Barack Obama’s Re-election Hopes

4th of April 2011, Barack Obama, the President of the United States had formally announced his re-election campaign for 2012. It was announced thru via an online video titled “It Begins with Us”, that is posted in his website campaign. On November 6, 2012 Tuesday, he will be competing from the candidate from Republican Party and from other parties. That day he announced his candidacy the campaign launched a promotional video that shows Obama supporters organizing for his re-election. He says if he will be re-elected that would be his second and final term. His campaign headquarters will be based in Chicago at One Prudential Plaza. Deciding to base the campaign headquarters at Chicago is a historic move because there has no modern incumbent president has based outside the Washington for his re-election headquarters. At the same day that Obama announces his candidacy, the campaign has begun accepting online donations. It was over 23,000 online donations of $200 or less were made within the first 24 hours after the online donations began. Matthew Barzun, the United States Ambassador of Sweden announced last April 29, 2011 that he will act as finance chairman. They say that this campaign is the first campaign to raise more than one billion dollars in U.S…

But unfortunately the approval rating of President Barack Obama is decreasing. There are many issues during his term as President of the United States. When he took office they say that the gas price have doubled more. Comparing him and George Bush with their deficit spending, he make Bush rank an amateur. They say that they can buy less and less with one dollar bill today. With this kind of issues and more negative one, Barrack Obama cannot run for change and hope but instead with this kind of issues they will say that he will run on fear. His run for re-election for 2012 will be a little tougher especially with the bad economic news. There is a survey that shows that there are some Americans think that their country is going to the wrong direction and they don’t like the way Obama handle the economy.

With the different feedback on President Obama, it gives big chances to his contenders for 2012 who have potential. With this one can say that some of the people of the United States does not like the way Obama’s work. They were not contented with what he had accomplished. Some say that the only way that he hangs on his job is by giving fear and intimidation to those who stand in his way. Just like in Pennsylvania, according to the recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University that 54 percent of Pennsylvanians does not like Barrack Obama’s job performance and also there is a survey that says that 52 percent of them also believe that Obama does not deserve to be re-elected as President of the United States. Because of this the Pennsylvania voters favours now the GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney than Barack Obama with the survey of 44 to 42 percent.
